The cervical disc arthroplasty may be an appropriate surgical treatment option for patients with a pinched nerve in the neck and/or myelopathy (a shocking, burning sensation in the patient’s arm) related to degenerative disc disease in the neck or cervical spine.
CDA is an excellent alternative to spinal fusion for patients with no spinal arthritis.
