My name is Pitt Roane and I started seeing Dr. Boyd Haynes a long time ago, back when he had a lot of hair! LOL!

Dr. Haynes has done several operations on me, working on both shoulders for rotator cuff problems and on my leg. I have been very pleased with the results.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and had a lot of aches and pains, especially in my hip. Dr. Haynes first gave me some cortisone shots and they helped me to feel better for a while, but the relief didn't last. So I talked to Dr. Haynes about my options and he said I was at the point to choose between having pain, using a wheelchair or hip replacement. So I decided to have the Hip replacement. Some people I know told me I should go to a different doctor, but I trusted Dr. Haynes and knew he would do right by me.

In 5 weeks, I was back playing golf and in 7 weeks, I actually took a 3 day golf trip! I feel so glad to have had the hip replacement and I would recommend it for anyone who needs it and has hip problems. It has helped me get back to doing the normal things that I enjoy.
