Hello Dr. Haynes,

Hopefully you remember me; Larry Pederson, total knee replacement in 2001/2002. Just to give you an update, I’m doing great! We live at 9000’ north of Durango, Co. near the Purgatory ski resort (come out & see us...15’ of snow to date). My knee recovery was moderate at first, but I started hiking in the mountains (4-5 hrs per day) and my knee responded immediately and favorably. If you recall, I’m a little crazy about exercise, so I also took up road biking/racing, and now I'm riding 300-400 miles per week (weather permitting) and entering all the races & tours I can; and no pain. I'm very competitive (at 63) and usually finish in the top 20% of my age class (national & world).

So, thanks for your skill and professionalism — I'm living large!
