When to Call OSC Immediately

Please call OSC immediately if you experience any of the following :

  • Fever above 101.5 degrees F (taken twice, four hours apart)
  • Red or Inflamed tissue around incision site
  • Pus, discharge or foul odor from incision site
  • Extreme sleepiness, grogginess or confusion
  • Severe nausea or vomiting
  • Inability to urinate (12 hours) or have a bowel movement (after several days)
  • Patient suffers a fall at home
  • Severe pain
