Over a period of 2 years, I saw Dr. Boyd Haynes and received cortisone shots to ease pain in my right knee. When the shots failed to help, we decided it was time for total knee replacement surgery. The care to assure the proper diagnosis and resultant solution was done in a very professional manner that instilled confidence that we were on the right path.
The procedure at Mary Immaculate Hospital went very well, and I was home the afternoon of the same day. With the help of pain medication, the physical therapy began in my home the next day. I also had the use of a RomTech therapy cycle for 3 weeks, which gradually helped to stretch and bend my knee. I am still in physical therapy and feeling improvement every day.
I can highly recommend Dr. Haynes and the OSC. Dr. Haynes professional and measured approach to my diagnosis was greatly appreciated. The staff at Mary Immaculate Hospital was very friendly, efficient, and careful especially in this time of the Covid pandemic.
