Orthopaedic & Spine Center and Dr. John Burrow are the best!
I was told 3 years ago that I needed a hip replacement. I had to postpone surgery because I was still working full time while also helping to care for my elderly mother in NY, and assisting my younger daughter with her first newborn in southeastern Virginia. Three years and two moves, and two little grandkids later, plus preparing and selling our mother’s NY home, I finally decided I couldn’t put off surgery any longer. A friend who is a sports physician and my son-in-law both recommended OSC. I was able to be seen quickly by Dr. John Burrow, who confirmed that I needed hip replacement surgery. I tried an interim approach of getting an injection in my hip, which helped, but only for a few months. When I returned to Dr. Burrow, he said I could get another injection, but that would mean surgery couldn’t be performed for 3 months afterwards, meaning another winter of walking gingerly to ensure I didn’t further injure my hip. I finally decided now was the time to get it done. I had my hip replaced 2 weeks ago, and saw Dr. Burrow today for my 2-week post-op. He asked me if I was happy to have had the surgery and I told him my only regret was waiting as long as I did to get it done. I have been so impressed by the care and professionalism of everyone at OSC that I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I will likely need back surgery in the future. I can honestly say I am looking forward to another positive experience with the amazing physicians and staff at OSC.
