Neuropathic Pain, such as Peripheral Neuropathy

Neuropathic pain is a complex state of chronic pain. Nerve fibers may be injured or damaged and therefore will send incorrect signals to other pain centers within the body. This produces symptoms like tingling, numbness, shooting and burning pain. If a patient is suffering from other conditions, such as diabetes, improved management of that condition may alleviate the pain. We may also recommend physical therapy, spinal cord stimulation, massage therapy, or relaxation techniques.
