OSC sends our MR images to an external Radiologist for interpretation. A radiologist is a Medical Doctor with specialized training in reading MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds and other radiologic tests. It takes about six years after medical school to complete training and certification to become a radiologist. The radiologist will review the images, dictate a report and send it back to us. Upon receiving the report, it will be entered into your medical record and will be reviewed with you.
