OSC offers flexible hours to accommodate patients’ schedules, including Saturday hours. Our reimbursement rate from Medicare and private insurers is lower than a hospitals’ reimbursement, which means coming to our office for an MRI is less expensive. A patient whose insurance requires a co-pay or co-insurance would pay less out-of-pocket when coming to OSC to have an MRI. This is not a negotiated rate – rates are pre-determined and OSC has no control over reimbursements paid by Medicare or other insurers.
