I have been going to OSC since 2013 and was impressed from day one . Dr. Snyder did a Bilateral Knee Replacement on the inside joint on both knees at the same time in 2013 and I had great results eliminating my knee pain .Shortly after my Knee Surgery my lower back pain which I have had for years began to give me trouble and I was not ready for any surgery at this time so Dr. Andrus started to give me Epidurals at my L3 and L4 locations a few times per year which made the pain tolerable and my life easier. Dr. Andrus is a very dedicated and compassionate person and I am lucky to have been under her care . So from 2013 to 2020 I was getting the Spine Epidurals but as my Spinal Stenosis and having a Vertebra than was 9mm misaligned was becoming so painful making it hard to walk and do simple task it was time to consider surgery . So I researched the Doctors/Surgeons at OSC , my one stop shop , and decided Dr. Jeffery Carlson was my choice . Dr. Carlson did a Lumbar 3-5 Decompression and Fusion Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion With C-Arm Nuvasive Procedure on me on 6-1-2021 and today is 6-18-2021 and as far as I can tell my pinched nerve pain is gone and I am still in my early stages of recovery but so far my pain level has been low and my mobility is getting better each day . The pain from surgery is tolerable to me so Tylenol works . This was an Outpatient Surgery which surprised me . I am walking fine and doing light work inside the house and even watering my outside plants but only for about 30 minutes at a time then its time to rest so I don’t over do it . Its easy to over do things since my nerve pain is gone . Also Dr. Carlson is like Dr. Snyder and Dr. Andrus as all of them are great to work with are very professional and definitely are well trained in their craft . I hope this helps someone make the best choice for them to seek out the Doctor/Surgeon who they trust enough to help them get their pain under control . It doesn’t hurt to just make an appointment to check your options . Thank You Dr. Snyder , Dr. Andrus and Dr. Carlson and the staff at OSC , which are also the best , for helping me thru these painful times .
