After undergoing surgery to repair a complete tear in the rotator cuff of my left shoulder, I was referred to OSC\’s Physical Therapy staff to get me on the road to recovery.
I cannot say enough good things about the friendly, efficient and thoroughly dedicated professionals who assisted me during my 16 sessions. Regaining mobility in my shoulder wasn\’t a walk in the park, but the camaraderie, infectious good humor, and playfulness of the entire staff while going about their very serious, efficient business of getting their charges back in shape made each visit, dare I say it, a pleasurable experience. I could smile and grimace at the same time!
I especially want to thank Tom Toothaker and Fred Wintermantel for getting each of my sessions started before handing me off to Rachel, Douglas, Caitlin and Jennifer. They made sure I was doing the exercises correctly and gave lots of encouragement to keep me motivated. And there were lots of friendly hellos from Bill, Jonathan and Josh and Christie. I miss these fine folks already!
In closing, I should like to say that I recommend these fine professionals very highly, and though it doesn\’t sound right to wish some sort of physical breakdown on anyone, I would say run (if you can) to OSC\’s physical therapy unit to get fixed what ails ya–and enjoy yourself while doing it!
