Wow! My back surgery turned into a real journey. About four years ago, I started having some back issues that I could control with Motrin when needed. Several years later my wife was getting prepped for knee replacement with Dr.Boyd Haynes at Orthopedic Spine Center. I thought it would be a good time to have someone look at my back. A MRI was done, followed by a steroid injection to my back. Totally amazing, it worked for about a year with no pain. Last year the pain returned. The ortho folks discussed a second injection which proved not to work. I was now having pain in my legs and back.
