Sharon McClain – Knee Replacement with Dr. Boyd Haynes and PT with OSC Team

Dr. Haynes replaced my right knee in June of 2023 and my left knee three months later in September 2023. There are not enough words to express the level of care I received from Dr. Haynes, his assistant Chris and the rest of his staff at OSC. Dr. Haynes has been doing knee replacements for many years and his skill as a surgeon is unmatched. With both knees, I checked into Mary Immaculate at 5:30am, walked out with the assistance of a walker and by 11:30am was at home and eating lunch. Dr Haynes called to check on me that evening and his office set me up with a visiting nurse, a physical therapist who came to my home for several weeks and a Romtech portable bike was delivered to my home to help with my rehabilitation. Dr Haynes told me he would provide me with the best knee, but it was up to me to do the PT that was necessary for my recovery. I went to the OSC Physical Therapy Center for a month and under his instructions, they worked to get me back in shape. I have had physical therapy at other centers, and OSC provides the best physical therapy I have even had! Knee replacement is not for sissies and you are required to put in some effort for your recovery, but I am so grateful To Dr. Haynes and all the staff at OSC for their skill, professionalism, efficiency and kindness. I know it is a cliche, but they have given me back my life.I have 5 beautiful grandchildren and now I can go to the ballet recitals, football and basketball games, and school programs I had been missing.. I have the best life! Thank you, Dr. Haynes.
