I’ve been seeing Dr. Robert Snyder for over 7 years for various knee issues and he has helped me tremendously through surgeries on my right knee. However, I continued to have pain that was radiating down my right leg down to and including my ankle. He suspected the back issues which I had been getting epidurals for in the past were the cause of my knee problem and recommended I make an appointment with either Dr. McFarland or Dr. Carlson.
After X-Rays and an MRI, Dr. Carlson evaluated my condition and recommended spinal fusion surgery. On March 10, 2025, he performed the corrective surgery. I followed Dr. Carlson’s post op instructions to the letter as well as going to physical therapy for 6 weeks and healed quickly. I continue to practice some of the exercises at home. After years of suffering back pain, I am pain free and am able to do gardening again, pick up dropped items (to include picking up after my Jack Russell, Henry) and many other tasks that caused me so much pain. During my post op visits, I can see that Dr. Carlson is pleased with my continued progress. I am forever grateful.
