Hello, my name is Norma Lemley and I am 73 years old.
In the summer of 2016, I started having leg discomfort and pain, starting at the hip going all the way to my right foot. I then started having the same pain getting up and out of bed every morning and having cramps in my leg. It felt as if it wasn\’t going to carry my weight, but after about 20 or 30 steps the cramps would release.
I went to my family doctor and she ordered an MRI, which showed degenerative disc disease, a bulging disc, and spinal stenosis. The degenerative change in my spinal stenosis was substantially increased from previous MRI I had. I also had a ganglion cyst in the spinal canal, this was new. I was referred to Jeffery R. Carlson, MD at Orthopedic and Spine Center.
We scheduled surgery and I have been very pleased with my results. It has been six months and I have no restrictions and I am very active. I would recommend OSC and Dr. Carlson to anyone needing treatment.
